Last weekend I ate shrimp casserole at a restaurant and thought of trying it at home. Thank God I tried! I would never think that it would be so easy and so delicious.
If you like seafood like me, especially shrimps, this recipe is made just for you. It is also very suitable as a specialty side dish or main course to serve your guests, at a seafood night. They will absolutely love it!
And it is unbelievably easy to prepare; nearly no process other than cutting/slicing ingredients, gathering them in a pot and putting in the oven, this simple!
What you need is:
· 200 gr. of frozen shrimps
· 2 long peppers
· 6-8 mushrooms
· 1 tomato or 5-6 cherry tomatoes
· 1 carrot
· 1 tablespoon of olive or vegetable oil
· 1 onion
· 50 gr. kaşar cheese
· Salt, black pepper
· 1 shallow casserole or similar oven pot, a mid size one is enough.
How to prepare:
· Preheat oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes
· Chop the onions
· Slice green peppers into small pieces, as long as half cm.
· Slice mushrooms
· Peel the carrot and cut into thin round pieces
· Cut the tomatoes into small pieces
· Put all the vegetables into the casserole, together with shrimps
· Add the oil, salt and blackpepper
· Mix very well
· If you like, grate the kaşar cheese, sprinkle over the dish
· Put in the oven and cook for 20 minutes
Enjoy!
